Well I seem to be back at square 1. Checked the clutch and it operates fine, however it does need to be changed. I have gone through every air/fuel check that I have looked up, with no prevail. I'm wondering if it could be the timing? Can the timing shift from normal use? The holes don't line up on any of the marks, I just figured it was the make of the engine being different than most gy6. Otherwise it's just idling fine with no movement. After 2k rpm, it starts to make a misfire type running bogg noise. I've even closed the air/fuel mix screw while idling with no stall or change to the idle... Only change is the dirt building up from sitting!!

It actually will not move forward, it will idle and hit 2k rpms, then bogg between 2k & 3k rpm. Without any forward movement. I will re check the cvt to see if it is the clutch, perhaps the springs rusted from the rain, or something. But I will change the plug boot as well. I did change the gas in the tank post rain situation, to see if water had gotten in. It will stay idling for however long, had it idling for 20 minutes.

Oh, and I have replaced the fuel/vac lines, CDI, complete disassemble and clean of carb, fuel filter, and gas in tank.

It's a xingyue 150cc "supercharge". Had a bit of a drive through torrential downpour, thank Florida flash storms for this, but it worked fine for a few days after with not much change. Slight electrical fuzz, but no engine trouble. Replaced fuel lines/vacuum lines, and the air filter is aftermarket no box foam filter, but that was the first thing I checked after the rain. I Bought it a few months prior with an idle trouble, but fixed that myself. Not sure how to check compression, spark plug is good, but the boot is a bit loose on fitting. How do I look into that? I appreciate the feedback guys l, this is a bit tiring.

so Ive been trying to get my scooter running for a few weeks now. it will turn over and idle, but it wont move forward. it starts to bog down at 2000-3000 rpms. I have completely broken down the carb. and thoroughly cleaned using carb cleaner. I have changed the air filter and checked for leaks, I have replaced the vacuum lines, the fuel lines, the CDI, adjusted the valves to .004 for intake and exhaust... needless to say, I am a bit burnt out with trouble shooting, and would love to be riding again. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
