My scoot has a 257cc linhai engine,need new oil filter cap,does anyone know what size it should be.I ordered one.It was to small.cant seem to find one that says it is for 257cc linhai engine.Thanks for any help.

I have a 260 linhai that did the same thing,my bike would run perfect for a few min,then the cdi would get hot,it would shut down and would not start till cdi cooled off.I would check that first and your ignition coil will cause the same thing.I would bet on one of those being your problem.Also check all your connections.

Have 260cc linhai style moter on my .express md 250t scoot.My question ,I need to replace my CDI box.It is the linhai type .How do I tell what rpm it is ,7500,9000.My CDI box has 4#s 0607.That dont tell me nothing.And if I put the wrong one on it, wont it effect the timeing.Thanks for any help.
