Hey everyone, I got my ' Honda Elite 150D back from our local Honda garage after it was burning oil, and the compression is 98psi (should be 180psi). So, I'm guessing I have a top end rebuild in my future Since Honda no longer makes these parts, I'm looking for a good place to buy the rings (and possibly a new cylinder/piston). Where is a good, reputable source for Honda Elite 150 piston rings and cylinders? I found this site: www.scrappydogscooters.com/CF150_4T_1P58MJ_Parts.htmlwith a CH150 rebuild kit, but its about the only one I can find. Any opinions on it? Thank you!

Thank you all for the responses! scootnwinn, I haven't checked the valves yet. I dropped it off at a local Honda garage today to get them to at least tell me what the culprit is. I priced a few top end replacement kits, and I know someone who can install it properly at a much lower cost.
Could anyone point me in the direction of a reputable source for piston/rings/cylinder replacements? Found a few, but I'd love to get everyone's expertise!

Hello everyone,
I have been riding a 1985 Honda Elite 150 Deluxe for about a month now. I just changed the oil last friday, and noticed it smokes a great deal. I checked the oil, and it was VERY low. I drained and refilled it, which showed that I had lost +/- 300ml of oil in 2 days (around 20 miles of riding).
I am not sure how the oil is getting into the chamber. Before I take it to a Honda cycle garage, what (besides rings) could cause the oil to burn so quickly?
Thank you in advance!
