[replyingto=f4milytime]f4milytime[/replyingto]Guys, you're gettin' a little off of OP's topic If your starter turns the engine over a couple of revs, then goes "whrrrrrr" then the gear on the starter is no longer engaged with the "ring gear" on the engine. I'd guess bad start motor assembly or worn/missing teeth on either the starter motor gear or the ring gear on the engine. If teeth were missing or badly worn on the ring gear, I'd expect problems with the kick start too. /First post on the "new" board
