Your engine was probably pissed when it found out you were not givin it the good stuff when it was younger. It missed out in its youth You may be right though. I don't know, to be honest.

Should have used synthetic from the begining I used regular 10w30, and even 5w30, for most of my first engines life--- and the last 1/4 of the engines life was a synthetic blend. That was a 50cc and it lasted almost 15,000 miles(kilometers). Longer than any other engine I've had. EDIT: Now was it the oil or the displacement?? I've had 50cc, 63cc, and 72cc. IN THAT ORDER. 72cc lasted the shortest.

Haven't you heard? Synthetic oil makes Chinese engines EXPLODE!!!!!! It turned mine into swiss cheese!!! In all seriousness, if you ride it long and hard, these 50-72cc Chinese air-cooled engines aren't going to last 30,000 miles no matter what oil you use. That's my final conclusion, from my experience. I did have the magnetic bolt set, and used synthetic oil halfway through my second engines life---- can't say it lasted any longer than my first engine. It's not the piston, it's not the rings, it's the crank from my experiences. To many variables.

Sarcasm here, but we should be able to use vegetable oil and make it to 3,000 miles.

Not that I'm recommending anything here, at least after break-in anyway, you should be able to use 10w30 and 10w40---either dino or synthetic, and not have any problems the first few thousand miles. If you say you're using this oil or that oil and haven't had any problems at... let's say 3,000 miles/kilometers--- doesn't mean a thing, IMO. Wait until you get to anything past 9,000 miles.... at least for the 50-80cc's. It's the long term, not the short term that matters---most of the popular weight oils will be just fine at that mileage, synthetic or not. If you have major problems at 3,000 miles, then something else is wrong, IMO. You should be able to use 5w30 and be fine at 3,000 miles. Remember it's the long term.
I think the quality of the parts is a huge factor.

All joking aside, I had to give this exact one up(not my pic) about 28 years ago. I wish a had a pic of the dash where there were stickers that were the panel lights. I used to put sand in one of the holes where you sit, pretending it was gas, and when it ran out I was outta gas. Not sure what to call that lever on the right wheel. Lol. Seriously no joke. Knight Rider baby!!

I bought Spawn No. 1 back in the day for $10, hoping one day it would be worth something. Worth about the same now. Not sure what ever happened to my comics.

I did for a short period back around when Superman was delivered a "deathblow" from Doomsday, in the early 's. Then the comic book store closed.
