That was my concern-- the ground strap is a tad noticibly shorter than other plugs that I've had. I can put a better pic up here soon. Just looks disintegrated at the very end.
I started cutting the threads off last night, so if anyone was wondering when they see the pic, lol.

Yeah I don't take super long trips usually. The most, usually, is about 10 miles one way to work and back (about 20 round trip), with some riding around town everyday.
Got thinking twice about stock jets and stuff. I have a 72cc with a 78 main and the nozzle removed from the airbox. Whatever works, lol.

It is still the cheap knock off plug that came with it that appears to be the equivalent to the NGKc7hsa--- which I've had for quite awhile and am just now about to put it in.
It looks a bit greyer to me than what I thought it should be?

This plug has been in for about 2,000km, it's not your typical new plug reading. I want to know what you think about the very end of the ground strap-- It doesn't look melted, just "frayed" or eroded away a tad. I need other opinions on it (I'm no plug guru)-- I think it's leaner than what it should be. What do you think, if anything? Give me a sec with the pic.

The emergency impact I bought in the link comes with a cig adapter (female) that has the + and - battery clamps attatched to a short cord as an accessory.

After using a 20% off coupon, the 12v emergency impact from HF was only $19.68. Good deal.

Ok cool. I know for the 139qmb engine it averages between $59-69 for a new crank. I'm guessing I wouldn't be saving much after parts and labor at a shop, depending on how much they charge. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully I won't have to worry about it any time soon, lol.

I'll be in the South Bend area today, and most likely picking up the emergency impact from harbor freight. The emergency impact I had magically disappeared after 6 1/2 years-- picked that up at wallyworld, and they don't have it anymore.

What did you use for replacing/pulling the crank bearings and pulling apart the crank?
Good job!

I think you need a new flywheel anyway, because the notch on it looks destroyed when looking at the pic zoomed in. You really should take a look at the notch on the crank, too, to see how that looks.
EDIT: It could just be the pic, but you might want to take another pic at a different angle if you are unsure.

The woodruff key goes into a slot on the crankshaft. There is a notch in the shaft AND the flywheel--- so when you put the woodruff key into the notch on the crankshaft, you line up the notch on the flywheel with it too, when putting it on.
So yes, that is why your timing isn't right. Just look at the shaft behind the flywheel for the notch.

The half moon was probably the woodruff key. It fits into a slot on the crankshaft.
