I bought a taotao powermax last year. Could not find a decent price used honda, yamaha etc in the area.... Powermax been running fine short of cutting out at stops after a fill up. A co-worker knew I loved scooters. Told me that his dad is selling his 2002 honda Reflex. His dad bought it new in 2002. He did oil changes every 2000 miles and has the docs to prove it. The odometer is sitting at 30k and sounds a little sluggish. Been sitting for about 5 or 6 months with same gas. He wants 1k for it, it seems to be in great shape and still has the manual under the seat. The reason he quit riding it? He bought it when was he was 81. He hates selling it but he said his balance isn't what it used to be at .....Amazing man... So I plan on buying it.... The sluggish start could be solved with fresh gas, lines cleaned and maybe a carb clean. Just concerned at the mileage.

I need a scooter for a ride to work. About 4 to 5 miles there.... Also have a Yamaha 125 Vino 2008 about 3.8k miles. Runs great as well. Wants 1k. Once in a blue moon, will be giving a ride to someone to their work that is any even a shorter commute. Keep second guessing myself as to what I should do. But the Yamaha seems to be calling my name even more so than the 250cc..... Argh.....

I will buying a used 2012 Roketa MC 13 250 this coming Thursday. It has 800 miles on it and the engine sounds great. Body is in great shape. He is moving about 6 hours away so wants to sell it. He originally wanted 2k and I have got him down to $1,300. The owner told me the one and only oil and gear oil change was three weeks ago. With everyone here with so much experience, does this sound like a good deal? I have not been on a motorcycle or scooter in 25+ years. I don't mind at all doing most of the work on the scooter. I just cant afford to throw away $1,300 on a bad buy. And yes $1,300 or 1,400 is all I can spend. What do you think? Thank you all for your thoughts.

Hello all....new member from West Texas. Have not been on a motorcycle in 25+years. So decided its time for a scooter. Mainly from home to work and back. Wish I could afford a pcx150 but looking at Chinese models. Taotao powermax or evo in particular. Love reading all the posts here. Just awesome!
