i got a new toy realized it was bone dry on oil,the old owner said he dried it for storage.or so he said lol so i tore apart the motor after i added oil, and the starter would bump the motor but it was a no go at all. so i tore it down and noticed the connecting rod was really hard to move, could this be from sitting so long with no oil and could i fix this by maybe soaking the entire crank in a bucket of oil overnight or for a day or two? i really like to get going on this motor and this seems to be the only thing stopping me.
any help or any ideas would help alot and no idea will not be shot down thanks in advance-newbie named chewy
