Hello all, I'm new to this whole scooter thing. It took my about 2 months to convince my fiance to let me buy a scooter, and yesterday not only did she say I could, she said she would buy me one. We've been looking at the Tao Tao ATM50-A1 scooter, mostly because it is the most affordable. I've also been looking into a lot of PDI's and things to do before even starting the scooter. I realize these chinese brands are not the best, but I'm looking for something just to commute about 2 miles to work every day. What I would like to know is how these scooters hold up, and what some of you might have done with them. Also if the site's I'm looking at are reputable or not.
