oh and this is all going to be without a battery if the scooter gods will allow it. no battery, no starter, shaved smoothed and painted frame, spun aluminum gas tank , and a ruckus style seat with a little wires as possible. thats what im doing in a nutshell

ok so ive been lurking the scootdawg forums for a few years now. as we all know you can no longer post so now im here so hi everyone ..im building a bare bones scooter. the main thing i want to accomplish is simplicity. my last scooter was a moto bravo with a long case gy6 no plastics no battery and was kind of franken-scooterish with the lime green back rim. it had the stock harness, the headlight and tailight worked, and was kickstart only. i loved it that way. i could beat the crap out of it. ride wheelies, crash, race and drive normal rain or shine. it was simple to work on started almost every time first kick and then i gave a friend a ride to far to fast and spun a crank bearing. that bike has since been scrapped and now im building a new one. So far ive got a 50 titled 150 from the scrap yard. i installed a gy6 long case with aprox 800 miles on it wired up the cdi direct to the stator then from the cdi direct to the coil all seprate grounds on the frame and the bike runs great! my problem is the white and yellow wire for lighting battery charging and etc. . i have an 8 coil stator producing anywhere around 8v ac/66+v ac from idle to high rpm. i wired them to a regulator and have it converting to dcv but its also anywhere from 8-66+v dc. im tryin to run led strip brake lights and tirn signal and a halogen headlight however the headlight keeps blowing and the leds wont even light at all. please ask any questions and i will respond asap. ive been tryin to rind something on forums for 2 weeks and usually figure things out by now. im at a standstill with this build and want to finish it more than anything .( wires in the pictures with numbers are to identidy whats connected to what if the numbers macth there connected regardless of color.)
