Yea I saw that video. I have the gear set up past the two welded together teeth so that isn't jamming it (that looks like what this guys problem is). I tried to post a video to show, it moves free sometimes and other times it just locks up and gets pinched. The first picture shows the gear past the welded spot but it still won't move freely. Has anyone ever tried putting grease on the gears to cut down on friction when you kick?

Hello, I think I have a unique problem here. Ive looked at old posts and cant find a solution. I have a 50cc verucci scooter. The cvt cover and kickstart gears were all chewed up so I replaced them all. The problem is the kickstart still wont move freely without jamming up. I thought to add grease to the gears but if somethings assembled wrong I figure that wont help which is why I posted a few pictures to show what im working with. Note: I ordered from some site called partsforscooters and the paint on the case was in all the spots for the kickstart parts and bushings. I had to sand off the paint to get everything to fit nicely. I was wondering if maybe these are just low quality parts that weren't manufactured correctly. Thanks, Brandon Attachments:
