If it can be stretched and doubled to rest under a flip-up seat and be water resistant, close securely, and hold a plastic bag full of groceries, sure!

I'm looking to buy some saddlebags for my Elite 80. Closest I can find are the Formosa bags ($55 shipped), Kwik-Tek bags ($45 shipped), or SX Appeal bags ($ plus shipping ). If someone's got a set of saddle bags they don't want or use, and they'll fit on a CH80, I'd like to buy them. Let me know how much shipped to Union, NJ, 07083 and let's talk turkey!

Got the Givi and I can confirm 100% that it fits on the Elite 80! You gotta mount the mounting plate as far back on the rack as you can, because it levers into place from front to back. But once you do, it latches clean on.
The mounting plate is standard Givi: align where you want it to go, drop the bolt through the square washer, thread on the bracket and bolt at the other end, repeat 4x, tighten when aligned properly, mount, go!
It's definitely big but it doesn't really interfere with rear vision all that badly. There's a bulge at your keister section (I know it's not me because my bulge is my gut section ;_; ) but it has no issues with the stock mirrors.
Pictures to follow. It does look big but it somehow works, visually!

[replyingto=domindart]domindart[/replyingto]Yeah, I've done some research, and Shad/Givi both claim that their top cases fit on all scooters that have racks and split the atom simultaneously - but given the sizes I'm not so keen about going to a local shop and buying one if the return policy isn't quite so bueno. Same for Revzilla and some Amazon sellers. By the time I've got the rack bracket mounted it's already no longer new and thus not returnable.
My objective is to be able to toss a normal jacket in the trunk and swap it out, leaving it in the trunk along with my helmet. Armor for the commute to the train station, coat for the walk to work.
Whatever I end up getting I'll photo up. Hopefully it'll help someone somewhere.

Hey folks - I'm joining the asylum as a willing inmate tonight with my Elite 80, first scoot. I need a decently sized top case so I can stash a jacket, a helmet, and other bulky sundries that won't fit elsewhere. Anyone know if the Shad SH50 top case or any similar very large top case will fit on the existing rack of the scooter? Any recommendations otherwise? It doesn't have to colormatch or have a brake light kit, nothing hugely fancy.
