Thanks for the info. It appears the fuel filter is the problem. It wont create a proper seal on the tank side. I attempted trimming back the hose on the assumption the hose was the problem, but no go. Still squirting out that connection.
As for the Carb Bowl Drain, mine appears to be connected at the bottom, but not the as it appears the other end of the connection is on your image. Could this be a problem? I cant really take out the carb to get a detailed look at it ATM, but the image suggests the end of the cable I have should connect somewhere on the far side of the carb, up near the top.

Hey all. I am performing maintenance on a Xingyue xy50qt. I got it used, and many components are not in proper maintenance. Ive identified its as a GY6 Engine. Ive recently developed a fuel leak, and Im trying to diagnose it. Here are my current findings. First, The fuel appears to be leaking at this component . It is in the middle of the line that goes from my tank to my engine. What is it? Is it easy to replace? Secondly, This cable was noticed to be unconnected. I do not know where this cable goes. Can anyone enlighten me?
