Hey guys,
Im looking to purchase my first scooter. I settled on 150cc because I plan on riding on state highways, which are usually 40mph.
I found a 2007 Shenke Whip with 1, 550 miles on it. Apparently, it does not start, due to needing a new battery. Cosmetically perfect. It was apparently her ex husbands, the title signed over to her. I get the impression she just wants it gone.
I plan on buying or borrowing one to bring with me to make sure that's the problem.
I talked her down from 550 to 400 for it.
Is this a relatively safe purchase? Good idea? Bad idea?
Thanks.
Edit: Upon more research, Shenke is a subsidiary of Jonway.
