i too the starter off....and i accidentally touched the frame with it ans it started spinning....lol. Now, when i looked at it, it was dry...no lubricant on it at all. So now, my qestion is this......would lack or no gear oil cause it not to spin? When i put it back on, it started doing the same thing.....like it want to start but not enough power

yep. New battery fully charged. it would stutter then go silent again....id hit the starter a few times and it will start turning......

if you look at my other post it was talking about fuel/air mix and bubbling sound. I THINK it is the starter. I tried it earlier and i got nothing, then i hit the starter a few times and it began to turn over a little bit...i actually got some fire. So, any help will be appreciated. I have a starter in my Velocity 150....will it work for my il bello? Am i on the right track?  |

right alloop. now if i can explain it from there......when i touch the solenoid it sound like its gonna start,...then the bubbling noise is more like it was loosing power to the point of doing nothing? then i would try to start it it, and like a car it would be vroom...............vroom...............vrvrvrvroooom........then just turn over. like its the power or something. im sorry i cant explain it better. if i dont get it fixed in a few hours, the scooter shop will be picking it up.  |

My Il Bello is just turning over....plus i disconnected the hose to see if the carb was the problem and it wasnt. Sometimes when i try to start it, it sounds like little bubbles then just click....i took pliers and touched the thing the battery is connected to and it turned over a little then went dead. I keep using a jump box but the battery is brand new. any help would be good...thanks guys Attachments:
