if you look at my other post it was talking about fuel/air mix and bubbling sound. I THINK it is the starter. I tried it earlier and i got nothing, then i hit the starter a few times and it began to turn over a little bit...i actually got some fire. So, any help will be appreciated. I have a starter in my Velocity 150....will it work for my il bello? Am i on the right track?  |

is the battery fully charged and in good condition? I'd start there

yep. New battery fully charged. it would stutter then go silent again....id hit the starter a few times and it will start turning......

Check the solinoid wires mine was acting up intermitently and it came from the factory with the wire to the starter real loose I dont know how it worked and it was like that for 3 months

i too the starter off....and i accidentally touched the frame with it ans it started spinning....lol. Now, when i looked at it, it was dry...no lubricant on it at all. So now, my qestion is this......would lack or no gear oil cause it not to spin? When i put it back on, it started doing the same thing.....like it want to start but not enough power

If it started spinning when it touched the frame the ground to the motor isnt working good check your grounds they usually are attached to the valve cover and check them all some times theres paint from the factory under them so take them off and sand the paint off then try to start it.
There isnt gear oil on starters you can put some grease on the gears and thats about it
