OK yea so midnight noon morning doesn't matter. My 150 has been burning oil for a while now. It runs fine, it just makes a hella lot of smoke. Turn it on, idles fine then blueish grey smoke and oil smell. While I am on the throttle it doesn't smoke, but stop at a traffic light or something and you engulf whoever is down wind from you. Rev a couple times over the course of 30 secs or so and it just about goes away.... until I stop again. Why does it do this? Just under 800 miles and 6 months old motor. Open intake and exhaust. Did this on conventional and synthetic oil. Why does it do this and how do I fix it. And yes valves are correctly adjusted.
Side question, the c-clip on a Carb needle. Up is lean, down is rich? Vice versa? Low end vs. top end power? I'm lost. Thanks

Looks like a factory version of a fatty rear tire gy6 swap ruckus. Interesting
