Great idea Rocky! Sounds much easier and cheaper then anything else I have seen.

I am usually out with my husband and we usually wheel lock both scooters then chain them both together since we just have 1 long thick cable lock. Think that is sufficient or should we also try for a pole?

hmm That might work. I have some of that material here and a sewing machine. I'll try making one. Thank you.

I hit my first 100 miles yesterday. Getting more comfortable riding in the city. Scooter attracts a lot of attention. Perfect strangers come up with comments ranging from, "Are you crazy? I'd be scared to death." to "WOW! I would love to have one of those!"
I have come up with a couple questions for you guys.
1. For you people who live in Florida. Is it legal to park on the sidewalk at shopping centers? I see a few people doing it but I don't want to risk it if it isn't legal down here.
2. Any tips from you guys on hot seats? Sometimes I just can't find shade to park in and when I come out the seat is super hot. Makes for an uncomfortable ride and I imagine it is not good for the seat itself.

I am not picky about brand. Just a little milk and I am happy. Can't stand flavored coffees.

I have a yamaha Vino I bought used 3 years ago. Been very reliable. Haven't needed to do anything with it at all. Used to ride it on the dirt roads when I lived in Ohio and it took them great.

Love that show! I wondered what happened to Dave. I don't like the new co-host as much. I keep hoping Cody will lose his cool and tell the guy off. He probably won't but the guy deserves it sometimes.

I like movies about survival so I'll probably watch After Earth. Last night I watched Life After People. While not a survival movie it was interesting seeing what they think what the earth would be like after we quit screwing it up.

Born and raised in Amish country Ohio. Originally from Ashland. Moved to Holmes county when I got married.

Saw an episode of Dr. Who for the first time. I am now hooked. Going to have to find them online and start at the beginning so I can watch them all in order.

Just make sure you get something heavy duty. I am amazed at the scooters I see parked down here with a regular bicycle chain. I would never trust one.
I don't know about anyone else but I would worry about ordering a scooter online. If there is any problems you can't just load it up and take it to the dealer to fix.
