I saw Superior is hiring. Only qualification is you must be a good Liar, and be able to say sorry a lot.

Stay away from Superior. Just my opinion. Iwould have gladly spent the extra 600 than deal with them the last 3 months.

DO a full inspection on it when delivered. Before the shipper leaves. Cant file a claim on damaged parts unless the delivery guy sees the damage and takes pics also. Mine came with holes in the sides from fork lift (roadrunner shipping). 2 months ago, and still no replacement parts from them. They tell me every week they will ship out by end of week and will get a tracking number. Its like a recording now. Hearing same thing every week. They have no parts in house to repair things. Gotta wait on boat from China. SO Please save yourself some headaches with them and inspect it completely. Hope it all goes well for you. Once i get my side panels, i will be set. Just been a long headache dealing with them people. D8

Sounds good. Was thinking the same thing. I just am a hand on person who likes to do things. I might just order new one, and then tear down the old one. Keep it for parts, and learn for future. Thanks for all the posts.

I have had it for a few months now. I dont ride far usually. Only 3 miles from work. Occasional highway miles. Around town. I highly doubt they will. I have been trying to get my replacement damaged body panels since i received it. (Superior Powersports). Dont reccomend them unless your close enough to go there. Do any Honda ones fit, or just a certain size. I feel comfortable to rebuild it if i can get the right part. My only concern in the link you posted is they are 33 bucks. I can get a whole new assembly for $75. So i dont want to spend 33 on something and then have to pay another $75 later. Again, i appreciate any and all help provided. Wife keeps asking me if i learned my lesson buying a scoot online. Trying to get it to tip top shape to tell her no lesson needed.

Well, my new scoot with 500 miles on it is leaking shock oil on the front left side. MC-79-250 model. Leaving oil spots on parking lot when parked. I noticed it was leaking from there earlier at the seal. Can these shocks be rebuilt with new seal and fluid? If so, any idea where i can get the right seal? I can get new shock for 70 bucks online. So if that is best to do, can do that. But just wondered if i could fix it easily for cheaper. THanks for any help. I have searched, and came up with vids on youtube, but none on a chinese scoot..

Not sure about Quincy. I live in Bloomington, IL (central). Roads are pretty similar to MO roads. But a big plus is that it is a lot flatter here. Less hills which is nice. Welcome to IL, The crappy state.

Man you got lucky.. That shipping company had my box completly torn off and all kinds of bent up frame pieces. Love that color. Congrats on finally getting it. I am STILL fighting with Superior on my replacement body panels. Keep telling me i will have them this week, and then nothing. My scoot from them had the coolant replaced with good green stuff already. So i got lucky there. One other thing i would reccomend checking. My scoot had this done. I called and spoke with the Tech guy there, and he told me they do this on all the scoots due to risk of receiving a scoot with a faulty sensor. Turn the key over and listen for the fan on the radiator. They had my wires taken off the sensor and twisted together so the fan ran all the time. He told me they do this so the bikes run cooler, and so customers dont get their bike and the sensor isnt working. MY only issue was, it was draining my battery quick. I hooked mine up correctly and it has been fine since then. Another thing is my scoot has the backrest thing on it. I do like it. It does help out on the long rides. Rotella is awesome. I run the same in my scoot. Remember when you change the oil for the first few times to look at the drain bolt cap closely. Mine is magnetic and had the usual metal chunks on it. Just want to clean those out each time. Keep us posted on how you like it. Love mine. Changing out the stereo in mine right now for a better one. Got the speakers mounted up last night in place of craptory ones.

My stand was removed. Only 1 bolt. Only use side stand. I just put it back on for servicing real quick. Lots less weight, and thing rattled like crazzy.
