install the piston the way you did can do exactly what you described or never run right, the piston is designed to help flow gas and air to your motor and exhaust out, your piston on a 2t is pretty much like valves on 4t if you think about it.

autozone has those plastic cut off valves u can use till u get what you need

The grey one looks like it has motor mounts on the bottom which from what i know only the 50cc do

Are you lining your timing mark up on the flywheel with piston at tdc and cam timing marks lined up

yeah it can bog down or completely cut off,most soft seizes will kill the motor. Do you think you are soft seizing or you just looking ahead but if you do try to let motor cool for a minute before trying to restart it

most sellers dont ever reply on sat and sunday some sell on ebay from there mom and pop shops that are not open weekends not saying that is the case here but your safe with ebay and paypal

You can use the stock head, but might not get the best performance you can always mill it down to help out.
