Great deal if you don't plan to put a lot of miles on it. 30,000 mile service requires engine removal on some Ferraris. I'd love to have a 360 Modena.

Modenas have the required engine removal for service,, the 400 is more of a traditional sports coupe ,, front engine car with a hood,, parts availability is more of a concern for me,,, Ferrari has a queckered past ,, going in and out of insolvency several times,,, if I can keep it around 5-6000 miles a year it may just work,,,,

Lots of those fiero kit cars on cl ,,, I'm kinda looking more for a 2+2 and not a real low sports car,,, the 400 is more of a traditional kind of touring car with an actual back seat and a trunk,,, my racing days are long gone unfortunately,, the 400 still can do spirited driving in the canyons,,,,it is a Ferrari after all ,, 12 cylinder and tube chassis,,, they can get after it if you want

As cyborg55 said, it's the mid-engined Ferraris that require engine removal for the 30,000 mile service. (Like the Modena and the Magnum PI car). Almost all Ferraris have shim and bucket valve adjusters. That can get a bit tedious on a 12 cylinder, 4 valve engine. Let show some pics of what we are talking about. 400i 360 Modena
