I cant seem to figure out what it is going on. When its moist out side and I get out of work the thing wont start. Almost like there is not spark. Eventually it would start after 10 min of trying but tonight I ran the battery dead trying. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe the coil pack or spark plug.

could be the above or it can be a loose connection in the wiring to the coil or on the cdi

Yes, especially if they have never been adjusted before. Not uncommon for chinese scooter engines to need adjustment with less than 1000 miles on them. Should be set to .004 inches on the intake valve and .005 inches on the exhaust valve.
