Hey everyone, new member but LONG time lurker (since 2011). I currently own a 2015 TaoTao ATM50, which is my only means of transportation (hint: starts with D and ends with I). The scoot is bone stock with the exception of some basic "bulletproofing" such as carb unplugging, sparkplug, fuel filter, CVT belt, inline blade type fuses and a few convenience and safety add ons (12 volt outlet for powering cell phone and air compressor, easy float/trickle charging, etc and LED lighting in the back to be seen at night).
I do all my own maintenance and wrench turning which I learned here. I am anal about routine maiintenance (synthetic oil every 500 miles, valve adjustment every 1,500) plus the once in a while stuff like idle speed adjustment and carb tuning.
I just wanted to say hi and thank you for all the years of advice. Now it is my turn to hopefully give back by becoming a member. I should have joined a long time ago!
