I had trouble starting automatically my 50cc GY6 after heavy rain. Horn ,fuel gauge, turn signals , lights were all out. I managed to kick start it , took it home connected the battery to charger. Battery voltage reading after charging is 13.4 volts.
When I try connect the battery , positive pole first , I am getting sparks the moment negative pole is connected and the wires leading to the 15 A fuse which are nearby are getting very hot to the point they may melt if I leave battery connected.
The key is not inserted. ..
