Since I am the happy owner of a Martin SuperEngine my old 60mm Big Bore kits are up for grabs. Taiwan, not china, stuff. Drop in for many 150cc GY6 engines (nothing bigger w.o a crankcase bore)
Just thought ITR people should know - have not said anything elsewhere. have 2 kits - both on Flea Bay. Search for "60mm big bore kit" (with the quotes).
Have fun and ride fast!

61mm drop-ins are available, largest without boring, is that what you meant?
I have a Taida 61mm drop-in with just shy of 800 miles on it.

Good to know!
I'm not sure what bore Dan Martin put in my engine --- 63 or 64 I think --- but that's not much bigger than what you have. Did you put a crank in? I recall Alley saying that was a big torque booster ... I don't have a reference point of an engine this size without a crank, but with one it's pretty strong.

I haven't found a crank for the BN engine yet, DMartin is checking on it. It has more splines and a slightly longer shaft.

Taida gear is pretty pricey - maybe too much so for most riders - but isn't their stuff GREAT?

I thought the BN engine was the same (specs wise) as the standard Taida wide bolt spacing engine ...
No?

No. The BN engine has the same stud spacing as a standard gy6, but a taller head. That head is what I'm looking for. As for pricing, dmartin's price was cheaper than any other drop-in kit I've found, by more than $40! I feel like I got a great deal!
