Hi all! Just wanting to say hello . I'm picking up a Piaggio Fly 150 this week that has been sitting for a few years and was just looking to check the forums out for info on getting it back up and running again. Purchasing from a widow that doesn't know much about it as it was her husbands scoot. He didn't get to use it much before he passed so it has about 550 km's on it. It's a 2007. I'm almost 48 and have had my bike license since I was 16. Lots of motorcycles over the years, but have recently sold my last. Really looking forward to getting into the scooter scene! Lol, that's my long winded intro. TLDR version: Hi! Looking at getting a shed find scoot going. Cheers, Stew

Welcome to the forum, you may also want to change out the fuel and vacuum lines and put in a new spark plug. That's a strong running 150 you have, you're going to love it.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I'm really looking forward to getting this bike. I'm thinking it will probably need a new battery as well. It's better for bikes to be used than sit, so I'm hoping I don't find too many surprises! Lol

Well, that turned out to be a non starter... Went to get the bike tonight, cash in hand, a pickup, and ramps. Woman opens up the storage shed to show me the Fly and it's gone! I guess someone had stolen it in the last couple of weeks. Very sorry for her, she really needed the cash. Kinda upset myself as well, I was really looking forward to getting the bike So, no scooter for Stew, lol.
