I just had a carb installed on a used 50cc I bought. It had been parked a year. It runs okay but after a stop there is no initial acceleration and it sometimes sputters out. I looked up info here on adjusting the air mix ratio, but can't find an adjustment screw.
you got a black cap carb..that's good! Quality. I never had any luck tuning a 50cc engine. Tried all different jets. Lucklily I stripped my orig cyl head playing w/ spark plug so did 50mm BBk (Hoca)
