Yes we saw. I wouldn't push those types of pics too far lest JR has to take you to the virtual woodshed for a digital whopping.
On many boards those would be limited to the Off-Topic Enter at Your Own Risk Forum and not allowed in the G-Rated Family Forums.
Where I am employed if that came up on my screen and another employee saw it and took exception the HR Review Board would have no choice to put a reprimand on my employment record for violating the Company Code of Conduct and potentially start termination proceedings for violating the Code of Conduct which would result in loss of benefits.

It will not be tolerated here. This thread has been cleaned.

Sorry about the thread jack jtron but kid's with broken scooters and no parental outlet seem to help themselves unintended. As far as sliders flipping i have seen this but only on some performance variators when the ramp plate was to steep,(The restrictr washer was not removed) the plate opened up too much allowing the sliders room to flip. Now i could be wrong as i only know this for the DR.P sliders, other sliders like stage 6 might differ. Where does the restrictor washer go? Is that the one that's only on the 50ccs? Or is it the spacer that goes between the boss and the drive face?

The one that i worked on was a 4T 139. It had the 'restricted' washer at the boss and variator plate. This was on a stock set up and the costumer put in a performance plate but didn't order the matching set. Not all part's work together, sometimes you need to 'pair' them up. I'm not a sales person, but i would suggest the best parts for your scooter budget.

I duno why mine is messing up, one slot always flips, the same one. Maybe it's just a defective variator idk, but im using the new backplate that came with the variator. Im just using rollers for now, but I might try and use the stock backplate and see if that helps. Or try and use a shim or something. It's rly a pain though, cuz the sliders really make it run great, but they end up flipping after like a day of riding. It could just be the sliders, I got cheap dmc sliders cuz they're the same brand as my variator but perhaps Dr pulleys would fix the issue

You probably have a defective variator if it always flips in the same slot. I never had a problem with the Hoca variator I put in my Lance and it really was not that much more costly compared to the DMC. Sometimes you do have to spend a few extra dollars in the drive line to get a good value. Cheapest is usually not the best value and what you put in when you need the bike running so you can sell it.

Yeah that's what I'm starting to think. I do have a couple ideas I'm gonna try out though before I give up on it. For one, someone suggested my 842 belt may be riding too high, putting in my 835 I had in it originally may help. Also, the part of the variator that the v slides slide on, 2 of em have some sharp burrs on the far edge which could be causing it to open unevenly. I think I'll file/sand em flush. Also if all else fails I may try the stock backplate. Anyways, I cant get to it for a couple weeks zcuz I'm busy with finals, but I'll see once get to it.

Well I think the problem is solved (crossing my fingers) I put the sliders back in, but this time used the oem back plate on the aftermarket variator. Having no issues so far.
