What are best tires to replace on my TaoTao scooter? I am looking with fattest or widest tread to be in contact with ground. I dont care about gas milage. I figure more tread on ground... = Safer the scooter. For pics of my blue beauty go to my dropbox folder. www.dropbox.com/sh/rpgs7ya134ds2hk/AABtCkGtcr6c7uKbCSnDAxNra?dl=0

More info would be helpful, if it's short case you're pretty limited, if it's a longcase with 10s you can fit some pretty fatty tires on it

... I figure more tread on ground... = Safer the scooter.... I figure the stickier rubber, which is why I get highest quality tires -- Heidenau. (And I really need to swap tires, after 8,600 miles the rear ties is getting thin.)

Before you order tires I'd measure the clearance from your current tires to get an idea for the biggest/tallest you can get. If you post the clearances and the current size of your tires then I'm sure some here can make recommendations of a bigger size that will probably still fit. I got some Michelin 130/ -10 on mine, and clearances are pretty tight but they fit fine. Plus I found these are the biggest/tallest 10s you can find easily. I'm not sure I would say it handles better but it raises the scooter which is important as I am taller than average. Plus I'm sure it gives a better top end and taller tires are easier than a regear. They were not very expensive either, think I paid $35/shipped each from eBay. You can get taller/wider than 130/ of course but I had a lot more trouble finding these, and what I found were more expensive.

Pirelli makes nice 130/ /10s, and 120/ /10s (sl26). I picked mine up for like 80 bucks for the pair shipped. Mine came with 120/ rear, and 130/ front, I'm sure the 130/ would fit on the back if i wanted, but mines a longcase

But really anything other than the hard rubber stocks will make a world of difference. Michelin or pirelli would be my reccomendations
