There is a weird metallic clicking noise whenever I takeoff from a dead stop, and more often when I have a passenger. The front disc also squeaks at a specific point in the front wheel's turn. I can't figure if one shock is maybe dead or something but it also wiggles sort of, not enough to effect control but enough to feel it is wiggling slightly, can really tell at about 75mph+ (speedo).
The scoot is a jonway 150cc, not sure what the model is. Recently bought it when it was totalled in a collision where the old tripletree was badly damaged. When installing it seemed like the shocks were fine, they compressed to about the same distance, the front rim and disc seem to be straight to the eye. It makes a super loud disc scraping noise when pushing it and turning it to the left, but the noise is low when turning and pushing it on foot to the right. The new tripletree is also half of an inch wider than the old one, but all measurements otherwise are the same.

Hey lain, this is just a thought, and maybe you have already checked, you said the new triple trees are wider, have you checked your wheel spacing if the wheel is not right in the center of the forks it could cause the rotor to rub the caliper or caliper mount. look for rub marks outside as well as inside of the rotor, caliper ,forks. also the rotor may have been damaged it's hard to see just by eyeing it .it doesn't take much for the rotor to rub. try checking by rotating the wheel with some kind of stationary object like a pointer mounted to the fork slider (hope you understand what I mean) one more thing check the top of the rotor and see if it maybe making contact with the caliper .anyway's hope this maybe helpful.later
