Hey all, I have a Gorilla Motor Works EX-150, nice bike but was wondering, this thing has signs of ac driven and dc driven cdi. Now, The question is,I had it run with both battery terminals off. She still ran. So does this prove that it is ac indefinitely? Thanks

Yep, it is AC, DC won't run without a battery. Another way to check if it is AC is if your headlight only works with the engine running.

My Ice Bear Zodiacs only come on with motor running so they are wired AC right?

Yep, it is AC, DC won't run without a battery. Another way to check if it is AC is if your headlight only works with the engine running. The headlights on only during engine running indicating a DC CDI is not always true any more. The only way to be 100% sure of a DC or AC CDI is to check the power lead of the CDI.
