JR,
C'mon pal... My 1989 Merc Grand Marquis wagon (Griswold Family-Truckster/Wally-World approved no less...) is still haulin' the load with 400,020 miles on the clock... A tad raggedy, but still rides like a Pulman sleeper! 3 tons of gas-guzzlin' carbon-fartin' purely decadent pleasure!
Now as for the Pontiac Aztek, I like Pontiacs, and I guess it WAS a decent car, but... Good grief! It looked like Darth Vader's kid designed it in 3rd grade...
How 'bout resurrecting some of the REALLY early compacts like the TOYODA (Yes, BEFORE the "D" got replaced by a "T") "Toyolet"... Now THERE is a name FLUSH with excitement!
I think it was sold only in California and quickly discontinued when it wouldn't climb San Francisco hills... I guess THAT model name got upgraded to "TOYOPET" along with the new "TOYOTA" parent company name... OK, I'm digressing back TOO far in history...
Ride safe!
Leo
