Mr. Barker is the father of my great friend and co-founder Doug also known as Medman1952 to many. Doug and his family left California today in route to take care of his fathers funeral and I hope all here will remember him and his family in this time of sorrow. JR, please forward my heartfelt sympathy to Doug and his entire family.
I did have to smile reading the obit, when I got to "Poorboy." We now know where Doug got his love of small engines, straight from his dad.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Doug and his family.
We have only a short time here on earth, and we try to make the best of it. The missus and I lost our parents quite a while back, and they are missed. I almost lost Betty last July to a heart attack, and at our ages, we know we won't be here forever. The road ends one day.

Bummer.......
Life is strange.
We all end up in the same place with a unique story.
Mistakes are made and, Uncomfortable situations are overcome with experience.
The passing of elder loved ones is natural, much like the developement of young ones ........
