Does anyone know if the Rokete Bali 150cc and the Bali 250cc share the same frame? They appear to be the same size touring scooter frames.
I have a friend who has a running Bali 250cc with trashed plastics. I have a Bali 150cc with nice plastics. I was wondering if either I can move my nice plastics to his frame or strip his 250 and just upgrade my motor/cvt etc to his motor/cvt?
I know this has been somewhat covered but if they are the same frame would that not simplify the proceedure? Not looking to open a can of worms here...

Measure the pieces and screw hole positions, see if they line up with the other scooter, screw it in and fill in any cracks with some tape

Actually the plastics are interchangeable if it's the 150de and 250de. (also know as the flagship). The Chassis, however, are different between the two bikes.
People are gonna flame me for this, but I think 150's are a more dependable bike and just better all around bike the the 250's. The 250 isn't much quicker then the 150, but the 250 is a little faster (approx 65 vs 50-55). The 250 tends to have more cooling and electrical problems then the 150. The 250, for example has a pretty anemic stator. The 250de also had two different fuel tank configurations. One, under the seat (better for cooling) and two, in the hump, behind the radiator and that does restrict the cool air. The 150 is also cheaper to buy the "go a little faster" goodies.... Sliders, exhaust, etc.
The electrical systems in both bikes are a little more complex then say a vintage 150. More points of failure. The connector for the headlights/front turning indicators is just horrible and fails quite often for example.
I've actually have worked on a 150 version of this bike, and I own a 250 version of this bike and I've painted both.
