Well after chatting with some people, and reading a bunch of reviews I made the plunge! I googled windshield GIVI and 1 day after ordering with free shipping I had a huge box show up! www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/givi-d257st-d263st-windscreen-an650-burgman-executiveTook me about 10 minutes to replace, even with snapping pictures! Here is the video link for the install..... (Love these how to videos BTW) As you all have seen here is the stock. Just unscrew the two and remove, easy to pop off! There are 4 screw undo them, NOTE: there are small washers so be careful And then simply screw the new one right on. Attach the plastic peace and re-screw The one thing I like is this screen wraps to the body, causing better wind displacement. After a fun ride 110% better!

A well fitted screen that is more like a sport fairing can make a world of difference. I went with the Puig on my SportCity and it was like I had put a big block kit on it. Get better acceleration abover 20 mph when the wind starts being felt and headwinds are no longer felt much on the interstate. Cruising at 80+ without being wide open on the 250 has become quite doable.

Rocky,
I agree, I took this for a ride to the gym and was like wow, world of diffrance. I use this rig to drive about 50 miles each way on the interstate, and was looking for that last piece to make the ride a little bit more better. This worked like a charm!

Winter? Whats that? Oh do you mean that time of year when one may need a long sleeved shirt and if it gets really cold out a sweater?
I ditched Northern New England Winters with 20 to 40 degree below zero temps and $1,200 a month fuel oil bills over 20 years ago.
Been a chilly 70 degrees a few times in the morning already and its only November so it may get so I'll need to put the liner in my mesh riding jacket shortly.

Well sometimes when 5am drives hit like today it hits 45 degrees for the first 10 miles....then about 60 once I hit my office. I pay more for fuel but when you get a ton of miles per gallon......who cares

45 degrees usually won't be till January and yes at 50+ MPH it can be a bit much. I just wear a wind breaking bib under the front of my jacket on those few days. That way I am not switching between a summer and winter windshield and maintain the same Interstate performance year round. I usually leave before sunrise and by the time I hit the office the sun is just peaking over the horizon and starting to dry things off. The office is inside a game preserve area so there are usually hawks, gators, wild pigs, turkey buzzards, heron, cranes etc out to great me most mornings. If there were more cold days I would consider a scooter riding blanket/apron like they do in Europe as they show in this video on prepping your Vespa for winter commuting in Germany: On a T-Max: They make them for the Burgman 650 too: www.urbanrider.co.uk/bike-accessories/tucano-urbano-termoscud-r037-suzuki-burgman-650.html

rockynv Those look comfy! Yes the last week we have had 34 degree mornings, note that will end soon but hey. I like the idea of a large windshield and to be honest I do not think these look too clunky so to say. I have looked at a few that just are huge and stand out. Not a fan of the two part ones myself.

Some models of the leg covers use the engine cooling vents to direct warm air coming from the radiator into the blanket to help keep the rider warm without the need for high draw electric heating pads.

howdy , i'v also used the givi on my bv and it makes a lot of difference with wind and rain penetration. it's a worthwhile investment for cool weather riding and as you noted , increases enjoyment a hundred percent.

We have a ton of mountain passes they blew freeways on. This cause section that as you ride up you know the wind will shake you a bit. As for this new windscreen, very much different and I see my one handed riding has improved.
