With 12inch wheels and longish 52 inch wheelbase, the GTA should still be quite stable at speed following proper de-restriction by the owner. Adly is also planning to import a monkey bike similar to the Honda z50 powered by a two stroke.

Hello Everyone, The GTA and Redesigned Bullseye are already in the USA... they've been here for several months and have been selling extremely well. You can see them at www.BintelliScooters.com. We have yet to sign up any CA dealers but are searching for some. We've heard from most of them that they aren't interested in 49cc models in CA so they're waiting for 2016 or 2017 when we bring in the 150cc Adly models.

Can you get CARB certified without fuel injection on a 2 stroke street bike?

Woo-HOO!
Even though I'm an old-school Harley and Brit bike guy, I'm ALSO old-school kart-guy enough to still be a sucker for a screaming 2-stroke...
I started reminiscing about the ear-splitting "ping-ping-pingity-ping-ping" and sweet smell of castor-oil and found a couple examples of 2-stroke SCOOTERS that sort of get the blood flowing in this old biker's bones...
Looks to me like these bad-boys might just have been built by the same scooter-jockey (maybe after a "bad-meatloaf" dream...). I'm impressed by the blower and multi-engine rear-view, and WOW... That bottom one... Looks to me like about 8-cylinders of watercooled 2-stroke madness!
Pretty clean engineering, too!
I think THESE rides might even be a serious challenge to a crotch-rocket in the quarter-mile!
Don't know WHAT these motors are originally from: snow-machine, outboard-motors, whatever... But I'd guess each 2-lunger in the bottom pic to be around 250 cc, so, FOUR of 'em should be around 1,000 cc, and, well-set up, around 250 ponies at 18K rpm... Talk about an "E-Ticket-Ride"!
Dang, I'd like to HEAR those run!
Enjoy the eye-candy!

Ricardoguitars,,
THOSE are actually two different scoots, but I'll bet they're built by the same guy. The top one appears to be 4-cylinders with a blower. The bottom one appears to be 8-cylinders. MIGHTY wild by ANY standards!
See it running? Heck, I'd like to see how they get it started! And, yeah, "not right in the head"... LOL! But a little crazy is what makes for THE coolest rides! Trust an old crazy guy...
Ride safe,

Pistonguy,
I'm afraid I'm "older-school" than you... LOL!
It was around 1957 and we actually got our castor-oil from the local drug-store! Whew, how time flies! Anyway, yes, MAC's for sure... I just turned 69 and my memory is not all that good, but I started out with a Clinton bushing engine... an "A-390" "Panther" I believe. Then moved up to a needle-bearing "A-400". WOW! Nearly 4 hp.
Pretty quick, the old kart got a pair of Mac 9's. WHAT an IMPROVEMENT... LOL!
After that, I got into a partnership with a few other kids and we all chipped in for a Rathman "Exterminator". All sheet-aluminum construction with the MOTHER of all scrub-brakes... We shoehorned THREE newly released MC-101's into that thing, and I honestly believe it would keep up with a crotch-rocket today! Starting was no problem... Direct-drive, no clutch. You just got a beefy guy to pick up the rear, start running, and drop it... And HANG ON! We're talking 0-60 in under 3 seconds, and a top end somewhere around 200 mph. What a toy for teenage boys... More fun and safer than the stuff kids fool with today.
The few details I still remember from those days was that we raced mostly at O'Hare Int'l. Airport (there was a sanctioned kart track on the property back then). We also flew our U-control model planes on the RUNWAYS back then too, AND would sneak our choppers onto the tarmac and race the new jetliners on takeoff... I once bet a pilot $50 I could stay ahead of him until lift-off. I did, and he mailed me the fifty! Whoa, GREAT times!!!
Here's the only existing pic of "Old Blue"... The chopper that beat the jet... Even more than the mini-bike, that Hog WAS and ANIMAL! My outlaw biker days are where my handle "The Old Chopper Guy" comes from.
The karting "rules" were simple. Your class was determined by the kart and driver weight divided by total displacement. At 350 pounds, THAT put me in competition with little guys in mouse-powered karts. Not fair, but it's fun to win!
For safety, all that was required were "new, unwashed jeans" with the factory sizing still in them, and "some kind of long sleeve shirt" preferably denim. No helmet, no eye-protection, though a few guys wore football-helmets.
Regardless, there were very few injuries and only one fatality I can recall. That death was not from a crash, but from a chain breaking on a single-engine West Bend 580, shearing-off the crankshaft, chain-guard and penetrating the seat AND the driver and finally wrapping around the steering-wheel. Sad, grizzly and unpredictable. The poor kid was only around 12 years old.
THE most memorable part of my karting days came AFTER I stopped racing... I was 16, it was 1962, and through a "fluke" in the Illinois licensing law I was able to street-license a "Go Kart Scrambler" mini-bike for the street... It was powered with a spare MAC 101, and was an ANIMAL... I rode it on the freeways regularly! I also had a great chopper, but had SO much fun street-racing that mini-bike against motorcycles and hot-rods that I paid much of my college tuition with the "questionable" income.
Yeah, THOSE were great times. Loose laws, no hindrances to one's fun, like helmets, mufflers or insurance. They'll never be back again, but they sure were fun!
Thanks for jogging my old memories!
Ride safe!
Leo

Can you get CARB certified without fuel injection on a 2 stroke street bike? You do not get CARB certificates for 49cc scooters, only larger than 49cc require them. Most 2 stroke scooters these days that are able to get EPA certified, like ours, actually run cleaner than 4 stroke scooters due to all of the additions of the catalytic converters.

Was under the impression that even a lawn mower needed a cert in CA. Here in Florida they found out years ago it was not worth the effort and even stopped the state compliance inspections for road vehicles. The cost of checking compliance against how many were caught along with the minuscule amount of actual environmental damage those few were doing just didn't add up to a worthwhile endeavor.

Take a look here and you can see all of the CARB certificates granted: www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onroad/cert/hmc/2015/2015.phpThe one thing you'll notice is there are none given for anything 49cc and below.

Love those stinger exhausts. Reminds me of motocrossers in the 1970s.
