People told me that I would not get past 10,000 on mine using it to commute daily on 50MPH State roads and to take long day trips on the Interstate at 70+ MPH yet I am closing in on 30,000 miles and the fifth oil/filter change on my scooter. I will not hesitate to jump on the bike and take a day trip on the drop of a hat.
Still on the original clutch and variator along with battery too. All I have done so far is replace the belt once, 1 valve adjustment, replace the rollers with Dr Pulley Sliders, replaced the brake pads, flushed the brake fluid and flushed the coolant along with put in a new air filter element and head light bulbs occasionally. Its now time to flush the brakes and coolant again.
I has been about 3,000 miles since the last oil change with 3,000 more to the next and the oil level is still at full.
Currently on the third set of tires and should get about 6,000 more miles from them.
