Hello, I've been a lurker over at ScooterDawg and this is my first post.
I currently own the Roketa MC-54/54B 250 ("Machoman") I don't know the different between the 54 and 54B.
I've noticed that when I fill my scooter up past halfway, it starts to leak. I haven't taken it apart in a while now but when I did, there was some gas that I could see on the tank that had leaked. Also if I fill it past halfway and let the scooter sit there for a few minutes you can see the gas dripping from the bottom of the scooter. Although it isn't at a very fast pace.
If anyone has some insight as to how to fix this that would be awesome!
Refueling after half of a tank is becoming an annoyance.

It is leaking by where the float sensor fits in. You can take it off and get some gasket material at your autoparts store and cut out one or two and add that to the rubber gasket that is already on there. Alleyoop

Thanks for the quick response! Is it difficult to pull the float sensor out?

No it is very easy, I do no know which type you have some are round and slip in and you twist them to get it out of the tabs others are square and are held on with four nuts the bolts are built into the take.
Be very careful pulling the ACTUAL FLOAT out through the hole. It barely fits, the hole is about 1" in diameter and the Float is a hair under and it you try to force it out the float will come off the wire. Alleyoop

Just look and see if the tank by the sensor is wet. Alleyoop
