A few years back I got into a small accident on my 50cc scooter.... My front fender was cracked along the top from the tip to the mounting point. I do intend on buying a new one.. Untill then, I think this solution looks very cool. Kind of a battle scar with an attitude

I like it. No bondo. You can get the zip ties in a lot of colors, if you would like them to be less visible.

After I hit a deer a few years ago I glued the front of the scoot back together with Weldon16. Worked like a charm and has really held up well. A great looking fix from 10 feet away.

My apology TH Mike------ I can't imagine hitting a deer on a scooter....... That must have been a life flashing before your eyes kind of ride. I'm glad the jokes are here along with reasonable repair tips!!!!!!!! Bailing wire also has a thousand uses IMO Be safe out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Side Note- Indeed a Zip-Tie can fix ANYTHING!!!!!!!! How many people have a broken window regulator in your car...... You know, a car window that won't stay up. Sure it goes down with every bump in the road but won't roll up on it's own....... Normally Gorilla/Duct tape or, cardboard is the temporary fix..... This is kind of ingenious using a hook, a large Zip-Tie and a piece of PVC pipe----- Buy online or DIY....... Ol' Red Green would have never thought of this...... Breaking the window is the easy part Fixing it cheaply is another issue......

"Ahh.....Red Green....my hero." We will have to lobby public television to start running the Red Green Show again. "Duct Tape Forever!"
