2 stroke is the issue...... The U.S. has a big problem with getting "certified" in all 50 States. California emissions are an especially troublesome factor in production of Motor Vehicles from other countries. For example: The Hennasey Viper took over 2 1/2 years to get what is basically a Lotus Exige street legal.... Even though it is built in Texas........ ( This is an Extreme example ) "off road use only" is a common phrase for aftermarket parts because of the EPA/DOT rules and regulations..... Burning more gas cleaner is better for business than using less gas more efficiently...... NO, the Aerox will not be road legal anytime soon in the USA..... Bummer

The Yamaha Zuma is a beautiful rugged ATV of a scooter. I do think it looks better with the vertical headlight setup, though. My main issue with the horizontal setup is that it only lights up one of the lights. It looks lopsided like one of the lights is out. Wouldn't be a problem with the vertical setup. Speaking of buggy headlights That's unfortunate about the Aerox, though. I've heard something about modern fuel injected two-strokes being capable of meeting emission guidelines. Maybe a future version of the Aerox will make its way over.
