Chuckles, "We need more info from that, what kind of squeak? Ok, sorry, had to do that, but in all seriousness, when does it occur, over bumps, anytime the engine runs, while moving, while revving, over a certain speed, from the front, or from the back? With how many moving parts there are, squeaks can come from almost anywhere, heck, even the springs are capable of squeaking, so we need some help narrowing it down to start."

It seems to be suspension related, thinking maybe a bushing, sprayed lube on shocks and forks, didn't help at all, but it does it whether the engine is running or not !!!?? Move it in any way, it squeeks, start the engine and it won't stop squeeking from the vibration !!! Annoying as

Get some grease, I use white lithium, and grease up the speedo puck and the spacer. You will have to remove the front wheel to do this, but if it isn't the shocks (they usually don't squeak anyways) I would suspect the rubber parts of being a little dry. I've seen it many times on brand new scoots and really old scoots.

Vibrating plastics that are not secured can squeek.

ive run quite a few bikes with bodywork,,and have had more than one car interior that came up with squeaks and chirps,,,maddening!!!!!! i use clear silicone spray,,,never fails and lasts a long time too,,,most times the noise never comes back,,,on really stubborn panel squeaks i aslo have resorted to the little round peel and stick felt pads made for cabinet doors ,,,once i find out where it's rubbing i stick one on and end of story

does the squeek happen when you move the scooter back and forth or bonce it up or down, with the engine off or running? if so you may want to check the brake calipers (if you have dics.brakes) if the pads aren't releasing the rotor it will drag and make a squeeking sound, a little lube on the mounting studs will help.just make sure you don't get any lube on the pads. I had this problem and it drove me mad till I discovered it .so I can under stand your frustration.good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions, it got my thinker thinking !! It turns out to be the center stand rubbing against the frame. Go figure !!!
