The 330cc Piaggio was a bit too "glam" for me. I guess BMW didn't have their mid sized 300cc scoot finished in time for the Tokyo show.

I can't blame them. The X10 is what I consider the most sculpturally beautiful scoot I've ever seen.

I kind of liked the Adiva AD3 cabrio scooter. (right around the 8 minute mark) Tilting 3 wheeler similar to the Piaggio MP3, but in a 300cc (298.9cc actual) size with a roof that folds away and tucks into the storage area to the rear. Would be nice if it had even a little more weather protection with removable side panels/doors. I think it is only marketed as far as Europe though. The info I got was in French... (Had to use the Google translate option)

I can't blame them. The X10 is what I consider the most sculpturally beautiful scoot I've ever seen. It's so nice, a big scooter that's not bulky. I like it but I'm the kind of person who can't wear white shirts because they get dirty in two mins. This is out of my league for sure.

A used BV500 can be found for about the price of a new Chinese 250 and sometimes less even at a Vespa/Piaggio Dealer. The new bikes and quota's make it so they are parting with them for very little money. Yes some are trading in relatively new BV500's in on the new BV350 with less than few thousand miles on them most of which are from bringing them in for annual service making them a pretty good deal.
I was almost tempted to trade in my Aprilia Sport City 250 on either the BV500 or BV350.
