Hello all,
Have a 150cc gy6 scooter. Scooter runs great, but after its warmed up it doesn't run. Either won't start or will die when I give it gas. Any ideas guys?
I have played alot with the jeting, it has an intake and filter with stock exhaust, right now at 110 or so jet (sea level).

I'd think it was running too lean without the enrichment circuit turned on, so maybe a dirty carb hole. If not that, then I'd think maybe something getting hot and changing in a bad way. Perhaps a check of the valve clearances. You might try starter fluid when it won't crank, to see if it's a fuel starvation issue.

Auto enricher circuit unplugged.......fuel tank not properly vented..... Auto choke is hooked up, fuel tank is vented (I rode around without the fuel cap to eliminate this as a potential problem). Also removed fuel line from pump and cranked over, squirted fuel all over the place.

PROBLEM SOLVED: One of the vacuum lines cracked. Almost completely broken off, that was the problem! Somehow, it would start and run, however it wouldn't start when hot because of this!

There is a leason here, that others can benefit from......when replacing a carburetor, spend a few bucks more, and replace the fuel and vac lines too. A stitch in time......
