I have two vacuum lines on my new Chinese scooter that it is suggested should be replaced with American vacuum tubing.I have replaced most of theother lines except two that are in a difficult place to reach. One line goes from under the gas tank to the curved rubber tubing that is located in front of the carb. The line under the gas tank is the problem.
The other line is located near the bottom of the motor on the left side and again in a place that is impossible to reach . Removing it is no problem but installing a new line would be very difficult.That line however is not connected to anything at the top end and sits along the side of the scoot frame
My thought was to cut the vac line near the top connection under the gas tank and insert a small piece of metal tubing in it and attaching new line to that tube. I am concerned that this might restrict the air in the tubing too much.That tubing is 1/4 " in diameter .I would use the same procedure on the other line also.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
