OK so I have been scootin to work and back on my new 50cc jonway for the last 650 miles. Love it. I have been reading a lot about what people can do to make it go faster. I really don't want to go that far to make it faster, all I really want to do is take the restricting washer off. Have any of you done this or know anyone who has. Has there been any problems with their scooter in the long run.  |

Welcome, There aren't any problems when you remove restrictions. And, I'm pretty sure that you'll catch the performance bug after you do that. the best thing you can do for your scoot in the long run is......
DONT BEAT IT
dont always run WOT
change oil alot { if its a 4t}
keep all bolts & nuts tight
tires inflated
