OK so I have been scootin to work and back on my new 50cc jonway for the last 650 miles. Love it. I have been reading a lot about what people can do to make it go faster. I really don't want to go that far to make it faster, all I really want to do is take the restricting washer off. Have any of you done this or know anyone who has. Has there been any problems with their scooter in the long run.

Welcome, There aren't any problems when you remove restrictions. And, I'm pretty sure that you'll catch the performance bug after you do that. If you haven't already done so, you might want to check out the new post by Doug (administrator) about going faster- he covers pretty much all the topics there. itistheride.boards.net/index.cgi?board=50ac&action=display&thread=806

[replyingto=sirscootsalot]sirscootsalot[/replyingto]You've got an excellent source for scooter parts in Vegas. ScraggyDog (see the banner^^^) has a huge inventory and some the best prices anywhere. Not how true it is but I've even heard that they will deliver locally...on a scooter.
