So I was trying out a 110 jet to see if it would add any benefit, but as I was getting it snug in the carb(hardly any pressure) the very corner of the screw slot chipped(should have used a thicker flathead) a tiny bit, a very tiny piece.. Tried it anyways and it seemed rich so I went back to the 108. Just curious to know if a veeery tiny chip off the corner of the screw slot would change how the jet works.

No, as long as the little hole that the fuel goes through is not damaged, you are fine.

I had that happen with an ebay idle jet except the whole side broke off. it ran ok but too rich so to remove it I hammered a small Phillips head screwdriver into the hole and just unscrewed it.
