Ok a non biased observation of your parts pics,,,this is not a cut on anyone,,,just what I'm seeing in the pics ok?,,looks like big valves set into standard valve seats,,,and also the boring on the cylinder is crazy off center by at least 1/8 if not 3/16ths of an inch,,,very minimum there will be hot spots,,, Crap, the head and the bore where supposed to be matched what issues could raise because of what you say?

Looking at the bore picture, I believe the problem is the position from which I took the picture, it does look off, but I didn't notice anything wrong with it before installing it, lets hope for the best, lol.

I was reminded Sat. of my own finding when I received my 61mm Big valve head. Its been more than a year since I received mine and completely forgot. I apologize for not bringing this to your attention. Upon receiving my Head, excited, unpackaged, sand the first thing I noticed was the Valves Sitting High and Proud out of the Valve seats. Popped the Valves out and checked were the Seat was making contact with the Valve Face. Sure Nuff, Stock Dia. Seats. Un F'n Real!! This is another reason my main focus is on the Valve Job and Not the Ports. With this not corrected anything done to the ports is in Vein. Iv'e looked at your Head and Ian's and all appear to have have Stock Dia. Seats. I believe these MFG's are using a Head with Stock Seats and Valve guides already Installed, then Hopefully Machining the Combustion Chamber to match the Bore Size.

On to the Bore. Must admit the angle of the picture is a little deceiving. You may have a perfect Circle off Center. Or And I have lots of experience in this area, The Sleeve was Cast in off Center making it Thin on one side and Thicker on the other. Not ideal. The Worst I've seen in Cast in Sleeves off Center were OMC Two Stroke Outboards. Most of the time we could Not Obtain Maximum Overbore due to the Sleeves being Cast in off Center, We just ran into Minimum Sleeve thickness on the one side. The Best Cast in Sleeves Ive seen have been on Honda M/C's. Were getting what we pay for in these inexpensive components. Looks like all this stuff needs a Very Well Trained Eye and able to perform correct measurements before installation

The problem is still present after "fixing" the intake hose crack, is the same symptom it had with the new carb before installing the BBK, I'll try with a new carb and see what happens, I think I got a lemon carb
