There are several scooter parts websites out there that are not encrypting their pages that accept credit cards.
I have had my credit card information stolen 4 times in the last couple years and it is always an online venue. I don't know which sites, but I know it was online as I have a couple cards I use for online purchases only.
If you do not see the padlock icon or the https:// on the page you are entering your credit card info, do not enter it. If the same website has a paypal option to pay, use that, all their payment pages are ssl encrypted and you can usually use a credit card without an account there.

I saw on the news about people ordering chinese food online and there credit card info was stolen because it was not encrypted. I only buy online if the merchant accepts paypal.

[replyingto=scooterelements]Scooter%20Elements[/replyingto]If I am at all in doubt I use paypal too.
Some customers refuse to use paypal, even though it is safer than entering your CC info into an unencrypted page.
