Between looking like a large hairy toddler or a student of a Catholic school for homely girls. That's a tough one.

OK... So NEITHER "uniform" is exactly "regulation" in the U.S. military, but... Considering the guys in KILTS back in the days of painting their faces blue, going berserk and littering the battlefield with enemy body parts, I have to go with the macho-man mini-skirts... Apparently those guys used their kilts for all sorts of field service... kit-bags, blankets, stretchers, even Clan-identity flags... sort of a "Swiss Army Knife in Clan Plaid". The ORIGINAL badazz gang doo-rag...
It's also reported the kilt was SO valued for it's utility and image, that many warriors would shed the thing before entering the bloody battle, and attack stark-nekkid... Now if I'm ever attacked by a 250-pound nekkid Scott with a blue face and bloody sword... EEEWWW! THAT is MACHO enough to make me push the old scoot to warp-nine, and head for the nearest hiding place... LOL!

After facing the Scottish brigade, clad in kilts in WWI, German soldiers nicknamed them the "Ladies from ". Censors removed the last word of the quote that rhymes with bell. Kilts!

And geh, that's what makes Macho Monday so much extra fun--you never know for sure 'til you click if you're getting John Wayne, or kilts. Hm...how about John Wayne in a kilt?

The British crown employed Scots in the Georgia colony to fight the Spanish (occupying Florida) and the Creek Indians. A few decades later, The British crown employed Germans (Hessians more specifically) to fight the Scots in the American revolution. Sounds like a close contest.

The DUKE in a kilt... Now THAT'S not something you see every day!
So I LIKE kilts... Ya got a PROBLEM with that, Pilgrim? Ya might end up wearin' my sporran INTERNALLY... Do we understand each other? Well Pilgrim... DO WE?
Wonder how the Duke would do a Scot accent? He once did a Swedish brogue in an early sea-faring role...
I guess we'll NEVER know... LOL!
