I've been trying without success finding a BBK for my GY6 ATV motor. The motor is a TJ157FMI. I'm not sure if I should just search for 157FMI kits, or if it has to be the complete engine model.

Your engine stamp makes no sense to me... The "I" at the end of your stamp means it's a 125cc, however, the stamp also list your piston size as 57.4mm... Only thing that makes sense to me would be that your motor does not have the stock GY6 crankshaft The math comes out to to give you a (roughly) 48.2mm crankshaft....
You have an oddball. Do you know what manufacturer makes your engine? What company is the TJ for?

*EDIT... WHenever I come across a new engine stamp like this, I try ot add the engine specs to my collection....
I have sent out request for information on this engine. I would hold off buying ANYTHING until I get my results back.

first of all thats not a gy6 engine. (its a lifan) take the head off, measure the stroke, measure your bore, cylinder height, your case inlet, stud spacing, then order something larger. if the stroke is something weird, which its probably not since the would require, different rod length or different piston pin offset, or different cylinder height and chain length. the chinese numbering system isnt 100 reliable or predictable, especially since that doesnt look like the short case buggy engine but instead the ultra short no belt direct gear and chain output engine based on the lifan 125 pitbike engine. then you need something like this tboltusa.com/store/tb-141cc-big-bore-kit-br-14mm-pin-p-855.htmlbut those engines come in 125 140 150 and several other sizes, so measure its bore, and stroke when you take the head off and go from there. they also have different piston pin diameters, 10mm and 14mm etc. scooterparts4less has a bunch of parts but u need to know exactly what you need to order from them.

Thank you for the advice. I should have mentioned, it is a 125cc engine.
I'll tear it apart and take measurements before ordering.

oh so you know its a 125, so should be 54mm x 54mm, a square engine, i have seen 52.4 x 55mm 52.4mm bore is common, the trouble with the lifan is they are less standardised than our gy6 engines, but the engines are 4 speeds with clutches or clutchless 4 speeds which kinda make up for it.
but they make a bunch of different ones, so just measure your bore and stroke, and deck height and piston pin diameter, and you should be good to go, the 140 high compression kit should be stout.
wish you luck.... if you knew the brand of cart then that might tell you which variant they use.
